Ed has been playing piano, organ and keyboard since the age of 4. His range of music covers all genres from Classical to Gospel, Swing to Rock and Roll, and Blues as well as Western and everything in between. Ed is not only a performer but also is a music educator and composer.  His educator career, spanning piano, keyboard and organ, vocal, choral and theory, began in 1986 in Detroit Public Schools. He has taught at Pre K through college level.

In Michigan, he served as a Music Adjudicator for the Michigan School Vocal Music Association and also the International Competition of Collegiate a cappella competition. He has and continues to serve as Minister of Music at various Churches within the Phoenix area.

His educational background includes a BA in Education and Communications from Olivet College, MI; a Master of Philosophy in Religion from University of Dublin, CA; a Master of Music in Conducting Performance from Bowling Green State University, OH; and a Doctor of Ministry in Theology from Lake Charles Bible College and Seminary, LA.
